This cemetery is on private property. Obtain permission from property owner before visiting this cemetery.
Directions:
Follow US 231 south out of Fincastle for about ½ mile. The cemetery is about 200 yards south of the bridge, and about 100 yards east of US 231, just across from Asher’s salvage yard.
Condition: Good
This cemetery is said to have been vandalized in the past. We restored this cemetery summer 2004 along with a descendant of the Pickle family. This descendant obtained and set a military marker for Jacob Pickle, a veteran of the War of 1812.
