Johnson and Martha Ann (Yeates) Darnall. Johnson Darnall was a brother of
Samuel Darnall, who has several children buried in this cemetery. |
Elizabeth Bridges |
First
wife of William Bridges, who she married Mar 22, 1855. Elizabeth was the
daughter of William and Lucinda (Yeates) McKee. William Bridges was the son
of Charles B. and Rachel (Lockridge) Bridges. After Elizabeth died, William
was married on Dec 31, 1861 to Nancy "Nannie" Darnall, who was the
daughter of Samuel and Maria (Yates) Darnall. Not sure where William Bridges
is buried, but he is believed to have died Jan 1866 in Putnam County. |
Joshua Darnall |
Joshua
was the son of Samuel and Maria (Yates) Darnall, who are buried in the Brick
Chapel Cemetery. Joshua Darnall has two tombstones. One says: Pvt Co I 115
Inf Regt. The other says "died at Camp Nelson, KY" and lists his
parents and age. |

Emily J. Darnall, d/o Samuel and Maria (Yates) Darnall. Emma Darnall married
Gustavus H. Williamson Jan 1, 1856 in Putnam County. Gustavus was the son of
Tucker and Carolyn Williamson. Gustavus also married Rebecca J. Burk Sept 15,
1870 in Putnam County. |

is very hard to read. It may say d/o F. M. & ___ Darnall. If so, she is
probably the daughter of Francis M. Darnall, who was a son of Samuel and
Maria (Yates) Darnall. Francis M. Darnall was married twice, first to Sarah
A. McCour Apr 12, 1853 then to Katherine Carrington on Sept 12, 1877. |
