Benjamin Shoptaugh Son of Jacob and Mary (Griffin) Shoptaugh, not sure where they are buried. Married Bertha Ann Flynn 1 Feb 1871 in Putnam County. Served in Civil War. Pvt Co. I 55th Reg Ind Inf.

John Flinn Son of John and Rebecca (Reeves) Flinn, not sure where they are buried, but probably in Putnam County. His father was married twice, first in 1790 in Fauquier County, Virginia to Lucinda Purcell (sp?) who died in Burboun Co., KY before 1810 and then to Rebecca Reeves 17 Oct 1818 in Mason County, Kentucky with whom he had ten children, including this John Flinn. Rebecca Reeves, mother of John Flinn buried here, was married three times. First to John Flinn, who is buried here, second to Thomas Kinsler 4 Mar 1841 in Putnam County (ended in divorce), then to Thomas R. Young 12 Feb 1851. Thomas Kinsler is buried at Mt. Carmel with his third wife Ellen (Clark) Kinsler. Thomas R. Young is buried at the Daughtery Young Cemetery northwest of Roachdale.
Mary Kinsler Flinn Wife of John Flinn. Married 13 Apr 1845 in Putnam County. Daughter of Thomas and Patience (Chadd) Kinsler. Patience Chadd was the first wife of the Thomas Kinsler mentioned above.
