Directions: |
|
|
Go west out of Greencastle on West Walnut Street Road to Co Rd
450W. Turn right (north) and go about 2 miles to the T, which is Co Rd 50N.
Turn left (west) and cross a bridge to a T. Turn right and go north about 1/2
mile to Parker Brothers Stone. From the office, the cemetery is about 1/4
mile southeast, up a hill and into the field. Go to the southernmost point in
the field where there are several stones. The stones overlook the barn and
grain bin. |

Condition: Fair |
|
|
This
cemetery was extensively overgrown with briars. We cut the briars and treated
the stumps. We were then able to find several more stones not listed in
earlier readings. Owner seems willing to maintain the area now that it has
been cleaned. |
