| Notes: | |||||||||||||||||
| Most of the children are children of Hiram Bagley Stewart and Nancy (Parks) Stewart | |||||||||||||||||
| who are buried at the Roachdale Cemetery. Hiram B. Stewart's father was John Preston Stewart, | |||||||||||||||||
| and his grandfather was David Stewart who was born in Ireland about 1760/1765. | |||||||||||||||||
| The infant son of W. P. and E. E. Stewart was a son of William Preston Stewart and | |||||||||||||||||
| Elizabeth Ellen (Cox) Stewart. William Preston Stewart was also a son of Hiram Bagley and | |||||||||||||||||
| Nancy Parks Stewart, making him an uncle of most of the children buried here. | |||||||||||||||||
| Nancyanna Riggle was a daughter of Spencer Riggle and Elizabeth Carlisle Stewart, who | |||||||||||||||||
| was also a daughter of Hiram Bagley Stewart and Nancy (Parks) Stewart. | |||||||||||||||||
| Note: Amanda Stewart owned 34 acres in the southern part of section 11 in the 1879 Atlas | |||||||||||||||||
| It looks like her property at that time was about 1/4 mile southwest of the cemetery | |||||||||||||||||
| In the 1879 Atlas, it looks like the property the cemetery is on was owned by L. W. Darnall | |||||||||||||||||
