  51 Thomas R. Herod Son of Luther T. and Cassandra A. Herod, who are buried at Ladoga. Luther Herod's parents were William and Sarah (Hart) Herod, who are buried at the Palestine Cemetery.
  53 Robert G. Shackelford Son of Edmund and Eliza Shackelford, not sure where they are buried. Grandson of Sterling Shackelford, stone 151 in this old part of the cemetery.

  81 Broken stone Based on the location and dates, this is likely a sibling or other relative of Keziah Wright (stone 80) and Nancy Epperson (stone 84), who are probably sisters.
  87 John H. Roberts Served in Mexican-American War. As his stone says, he died at Matamoros, Mexico 19 Feb 1847. The Battle of Matamoros was during May 1846. It is believed that John Roberts served as a guard for Mexican prisoners at Fort Brown in Matamoros when he died of disease.
