Minter Cemetery

		This cemetery is on private property. Obtain permission from property owner before visiting this cemetery.
		Directions:
		Go to the north end of Fillmore and cross the railroad tracks. Turn right onto Co Rd 150N and follow this road as it runs just to the north of the railroad. After about three miles the road will curve left and become Co Rd 775E. Follow 775E north for about ¾ mile. About ¼ mile south of where the road starts down a big hill, there is a cultivated field to the left (west). The cemetery is about 300 yards west of the road and just west of where the field meets the woods.
		Condition: Fair
		Cemetery is in woods near the edge of a cultivated field. There is a fence around the cemetery which is in poor condition. The fence needs to be pulled up in several places and repaired. There are a lot of trees just outside the cemetery, but none inside. The trees are keeping the weeds down. It wouldn’t hurt to cut mature trees just outside the cemetery so they won’t fall on the stones later. There are a few stones could be repaired and reset.

	*  There are two stones for Robert R. Monnet. On stone 16 his date of death is clearly Nov 17, 1853
	he is also on stone 17 with his parents. On that stone, his date of death is just as clearly Sept 1, 1880
	I strongly believe the Nov 17, 1853 date of death on stone 16 is the correct date. The age fits much better
	with the dates of his parents. Also, the Sept 1, 1880 date on stone 17 happens to also
	be his father's date of death. I think the family made an error on stone 17.
